Food was delicious and the service was even better. LYDIA provided excellent customer service and truly knows how to manage expectations for the customers. Stopped in for appetizers and a couple of cold ones. The huge basket of fried pickles were excellent! So were the fried mozzarella sticks! If you're ever in Hooters in downtown St. Louis on Chestnut Street, stop in! Ask for Lydia!
Service was on point the first time there. Second time young lady was more worried about phone than taking care of customers. Wings were less than exciting. Guess I should drink more to be able to enjoy the wings. Didn't try much else besides the wings, fries and a salad. Bartender was very pleasant and nice Place seemed overall clean but never stayed long enough to really pay attention. All my orders were to go.
Grabbed some lunch today. This was really cooked well. The wings were crispy and hot and fresh! This location seems to be short on staff but they manage well! The restaurant is always clean and the TV's show great clear images and you can watch several games at once! The cooks are very consistent, honestly I can't say I've ever wanted to return a meal I've purchased!
I have a friend who's a bit of a dirty old man (now north of 80) who gets his jollies by going to Hooters for lunch for some wings (for his taste buds and digestive system) and for young women in the shortest shorts to can imagine (for his eyes and imagination.) Yesterday, we went there and I had the best lunch special I've ever had there- $9.99 for a half dozen wings and a generous pile of fires. The wings were cooked and sauced perfectly, the service was prompt and conscientious and the fries were fresh, hot, and crispy. The next time he wants to get his pulse up for wings and sights, I will accompany him, because I am a good friend who does not judge others harshly, as a general rule.
